Widowmakers do very little damage to vehicles, making them extra vulnerable to motorized ground units, especially the hard hitting tanks. In the late game it struggles to against heavy tech units. The cost and performance of the Widowmaker is about on par with the mid-game units, but since it required the Temple of Nod building, it's difficult to field it quick enough. The flames deal extra damage to buildings, allowing Widowmakers to quickly dispatch Minigun turrets and the Obelisk of Light. The Widowmaker went through many iterations, but the final arachnidian design was selected by Gideon Raveshaw himself for it's “sense of style and class”.Īrmed with flame throwers and missiles, the Widowmaker is a capable anti-infantry and anti-aircraft vehicle. It's fearsome looks are backed by a dual flame-thrower and and abdomen mounted missile battery. The Widowmaker is designed to defend the high cost Temple units form infantry and airborne threats.
